Shot Down

We try to become what we conceive as excellence,
I differ, I think we're all simple pestilence'.

My heart was destroyed by shellshock,
Children in court because of our deadlock.

I lost what I had and now there's nothing left,
There is a reason for this, if you haven’t guessed.

I sold my soul and now I have found,
That through my life, I was always shot down.

I see with a new vision, after time,
You can't hide, I can see your crimes.

People try to gain others' trust,
But who ever said I must?

I quit on life and the supposed creator,
I've been on this path but I not going to be, later.

Through my time, I've gained my foes,
