Dawn

A new day dawns and life shines

Flowers grow, tangled in vines

The day begins and now I see

Everything repeats itself, even me.

I live my day through the routine learned

And brighten life with things I’ve earned

The twilight comes and darkness reigns

Now is the time for burning pain

A raging thought and a full moon

A creature howls, the time is soon

The creature runs, nary to be seen

And the world has gone, disappeared into dreams

Twilight comes and he can’t hide

The rules of the moon, he has to abide

A crimson sun rises and the night will end

The process will repeat again
