Worthless Life

When did life become worthless?

When did it become a commodity that could be bought and sold?

When did it become a gift that could be given and taken away freely and without warning?

There is a single article that was previously in the ‘Sun’ newspaper that gives a perfect example. A man, drunk, runs down a traveller. He paid a fine of £187.

Why has life been given a price tag?

Those who treat life as such can only answer these questions.

I, however, have a different belief.

I believe that life is sacred and that it can only be taken by the person it belongs to.

We have no right to dictate how others lead their lives so why do so many of us try?

I believe this is because so many of us are heartless. Heartless enough to treat others as slaves and take advantage of those for whom life isn’t as easy.
