The Deck

I hold the deck. Shuffling as I do. Every card losing its place to another. But this is no ordinary deck. All though it has a King, A Queen, Four Suits and numbers ranging from Ace to ten, it is what's on the back of the cards.

On the back of my deck are all the faces of the people I hold dear. In my deck, there doesn't have to be 52 cards. There could be 54, or 104 to 108. But it is a full deck or two, I guarantee you.

With this deck, I deal new hands daily. I meet the people on the cards and they in turn meet me. But don't consider me special or different from you. We all have our decks. We all have our shuffled selection. We deal the cards everyday.

But remember, as you have your deck, you are also a part of another person’s deck.

The question I ask is, "Who's your ace of spades?"
